Air Mobility Group (AMG)prides itself on being at the vanguard of the implementation of Plan Jericho, the Air Force’s program to transform into “a fully-integrated force that is capable of fighting and winning in the information age”.
Following the recent installation of new, advanced satellite communication (SATCOM) and imagery display systems in the C-17 comes a parallel move to equip the medium-lift C-130J Hercules with similar beyond line-of-sight communications that will provide much improved situational awareness to the J model’s passengers and crew.
