The RAAF and the age of air power
When the RAAF’s first F-35As arrive in Australia in 2018 they will represent a profound capability and technology leap. A similar kind of step-change occurred between 1970 and 1973 when Australia leased 24 F-4E Phantoms, pending the arrival of the long-delayed F-111C.
