When Captain David Morgan talks about sustainability, the discussion is as much about what Air New Zealand is doing in the wider community as it is about efforts to make day-to-day operations more efficient.

Air NZ’s chief of flight operations and safety officer says the airline’s 11,000 employees, or Air New Zealanders, have embraced the “sustainability framework”, which focuses on building sustainability into everyday activities in collaboration with other companies, government departments and the backing of its staff.
