ANA rejoins battle for the Japan-Australia route
Japan’s biggest airline is hoping to tap into the recent growth in passengers travelling between Australia and Japan with its new Tokyo/Haneda- Sydney service which took off in December.
ANA brought out its Star Wars-themed 787, dubbed the R2-D2 Dreamliner, for the inaugural flight that proved a popular hit with both aviation enthusiasts and fans of the popular movie franchise alike when it touched down in Sydney amid clear summer skies on the morning of Saturday December 12.
