Virgin Australia to benefit from growth in US inbound passengers
While the planned increase in seats between Australia and the US from nonstop and one-stop operators represents a bonanza for air travellers in the form of lower fares, Virgin Australia chief executive John Borghetti says it is not all good news.
The combined Virgin and Delta alliance currently operate three flights a day between Australia and the United States – both have a daily service between Sydney and Los Angeles, while the Australian carrier also offers a daily Brisbane-Los Angeles nonstop flight.
