New operators on our listing imported four aircraft with Skyline Aviation of Napier, NZ taking delivery of Nextant 400XT1 ZK-NXJ; Eyeon Jet of Shepparton Citation Bravo VH-EYJ; Falcon Jet Operations of Perth Falcon 2000 VH-FJO; and Norris Aviation of Nundah Learjet 60 VH-XPN.

Established operators imported a further 11 aircraft with Crown Melbourne taking delivery of Global Expresses VH-CCD, VH-CCV and VH-CCX as replacements for previously operated Gulfstream Vs VH-CRQ and VH-CCC and Gulfstream IV VH-CGF.

ExecuJet Australia in Sydney added Global 6000 VH-IEJ to join Global Express VH-ICV and Global Express VH-OCV, while Linfox Global Charter at Essendon took delivery of Global 6000 VH-LEP to join Global Express VH-LZP and Challenger 604 VH-LEF.

AVWest Aviation in Perth added Gulfstream 650 N47TR and Global Express N976CB to join Global Express N709FG, while Jetflight Air Services at Auckland took delivery of Gulfstream 650 N650AB as a replacement for Falcon 2000EX N818BH.

Sunshine Air Services at Essendon added Challenger 604 VH-VLZ to join Hawker 800XP VH-VRC, while Jet City added Learjet 45 VH-LJQ to join Learjet 45 VH-LJX and Learjet 36A VH-JCX.

Finally, Machjet of Cooroy, Queensland took delivery of Citation S/II VH-SQM to join Citation S/II VH-JLU and Citation CJ1 VH-SIY.

Bizjets departing overseas without replacement included Sutherland Aviation Gulfstream IV VH-WXK which was sold in the US as N379RS; and Tartary Global 5000 VH-DNK which was registered in the Cayman Islands as VP-CES. Ramsay Aircharter Falcon 200EX VH-RAM was exported to Belgium as OO-PSE, while Christie Aviation Citation X VH-RCA was exported to the US where it was registered N712TX. Freedom Road Logistics Hawker 800XP VH-MEP was registered N713SC before departing for the US, while TWC Logistics Premier VH-TGQ was exported to the US as N390K. Finally, Shazo Holdings exported Citation II VH-NSB to the US as N539CC and Citation II VH-VBK to the US as N881JG.

Air Affairs (Australia) was awarded a major ADF contract in September and with this coming into effect on October 1 it added Learjet 35As VH-JCR, VH-LJJ and VH-OVB to join Learjet 35As VH-LRX and VH-LPJ in operations from Nowra.

That contract was previously held by Pel-Air Aviation and resulted in Pel-Air placing the following aircraft in storage at Wagga Wagga: Westwind Is VH-AJG, VH-AJJ, VH-AJV, VH-KNS; Learjet 35As VH-SLD and VH-SLE; Learjet 36A VH-SLF; and Learjet 36 VH-SLJ.

Deliveries

In our period under review bizjet delivery numbers to our region totalled 20 aircraft which was the same as was delivered in the previous 12 months. Delivery numbers for the five years 2010 to 2014 were 29, 24, 21, 13 and 20 respectively.

Gulfstream 650 N650AB was delivered to Jetflight Air Services at Auckland on December 7 ’14.

Citation M2 VH-WMY, which was registered to Mitchell Water Australia on December 15 ’14, was delivered to Essendon on January 22.

Gulfstream 650 N47TR was delivered to AVWest Aviation in Perth on December 18 ’14.

Legacy 500 N142GZ was delivered to Avesco at Mackay on February 9.

Learjet 45 VH-LJQ was registered to Jet City on February 9 and was delivered to Essendon on February 18.

Citation S/II VH-SQM, which was registered to Machjet of Cooroy, Queensland on June 30, had earlier been delivered to Maroochydore as D-CJJJ on February 12.

Nextant 400XTi ZK-NXJ, which was registered to Skyline Aviation on February 25, had earlier been delivered to Napier as N111CX on February 16.

Global Express VH-CCV, which was registered to Crown Melbourne on March 18, was delivered to Melbourne on March 26.

Global Express VH-CCX was registered to Crown Melbourne on June 1 and was delivered to Melbourne on June 7.

Falcon 2000 VH-FJO was registered to Falcon Jet Operations on June 2 and was delivered to Perth on July 7.

Challenger 604 VH-VLZ was registered to Sunshine Air Services on June 10 and was delivered to Essendon on June 22.

Global Express VH-CCD was registered to Crown Melbourne on June 26 and was delivered to Melbourne on July 3.

Gulfstream IV N810LP was re-delivered to Kefford Aviation at Essendon on July 30.

Global Express N976CB was delivered to AVWest in Perth on August 2.

Citation Bravo VH-EYJ was registered to Eyeon Jet on August 12 and was delivered to Essendon on September 29.

Global 6000 VH-LEP was registered to Linfox Global Charter on August 20 and was delivered to Essendon on September 6.

Global 6000 VH-IEJ was registered to ExecuJet Australia on October 1 and was delivered to Sydney on October 4.

Learjet 60 VH-XPN was registered to Norris Aviation of Nundah, Queensland on October 1 and was delivered to Brisbane on October 5.

Citation I/SP N501AF was delivered to Jandakot on October 17.

Learjet 31ER VH-OVX, which was registered to Shortstop Jet Charter on November 10 ’15, had earlier been delivered to Essendon as N55VR on October 25.

Departures

In our period under review 14 bizjets departed our region which was a 30 per cent decrease in the previous 12 months. Departure numbers for the five years 2010 to 2014 were eight, 10, 10, 11 and 20 respectively.

Jetflight Air Services Falcon 2000EX N818BH, which was replaced by Gulfstream 650 N650AB, departed Auckland for Honolulu on October 1 ’14.

Ramsay Aircharter Falcon 2000EX VH-RAM was cancelled from the register on November 11 ’14 as ‘exported to Belgium’ where it was later registered OO-PSE. VH-RAM was last reported in Australia on April 1 ’14.

Shazo Holdings Citation II VH-NSB, which departed the Gold Coast for the US on October 15 ’14, was cancelled from the register on December 1 ’14 on its sale in the US as N539CC.

Freedom Road Logistics Hawker 800XP VH-MEP was cancelled from the register on November 28 ’14 on its sale in the US. Later registered N713SC the Hawker 800XP departed Bankstown on December 12 ’14 for Sydney and Nadi and onwards to the US.

Shazo Holdings Citation II VH-VBK departed the Gold Coast for the US on November 22 ’14 and was cancelled from the register on December 11 ’14 on its sale in the US as N881JG.

Noumea Jet Services Citation CJ2+ F-ONYY departed Noumea/Magenta for Europe via the Gold Coast, Alice Springs and Darwin on March 24.

Crown Melbourne Gulfstream V VH-CRQ, which was last reported in Australia on April 17, was cancelled from the register on May 15 as ‘exported to the USA’. On May 18 it was placed on the US register as N881HS.

Premier N7088S, which was operated by Avesco of Mackay, departed Archerfield on June 3 on ferry to the US.

Citation X VH-RCA of Christie Aviation was cancelled from the register on June 23 as ‘exported to the USA’. VH-RCA, which had earlier departed Sydney for Apia and the US on May 10, was registered N712TX on June 29.

Tartary Global 5000 VH-DNK was cancelled from the register on June 23. Last noted in Australia on April 10, the Global 5000 was later placed on the register of the Cayman Islands as VP-CES.

Sutherland Aviation Gulfstream IV VH-WXK was cancelled from the register on August 12. The Gulfstream, which had earlier departed Australia on February 27, was registered N370RS on August 13.

Crown Melbourne Gulfstream V VH-CCC was cancelled from the register on September 16. The Gulfstream, which departed Australia on May 6, was registered N280PH on September 16.

Premier VH-TGQ, which was operated by TWC Logistics, was cancelled from the register on August 27. It had earlier departed Cairns for Cebu and the US on August 13 where it was later registered N390K on October 19.

Westwind 1 VH-AJP of Pel-Air Aviation was cancelled from the register on October 7 as ‘no longer in use as an aircraft’.

Hawker 800 N838JL arrived at Essendon from Seletar and Port Hedland on August 28 ’13 with the aircraft planned for registration in Australia but to date this has not happened. N838JL was still resident at Essendon as of October 31 ’15.

Gulfstream IV N810LP of Kefford Corporation was last seen at its Essendon base in May 2013 before being moved to the USA. As a result N810LP was removed from our listing, but on July 30 ’15 it returned to Essendon to take up residence and as a result it has been reinstated.

Falcon 7X M-GMKM of MKAir7X, which was previously registered VH-MQK, was also removed from our listing, but the aircraft still operates in Australia so it has been reinstated.
