Australian Airlines Fleet News

The end for Australian Airlines was signalled on 06/05 when Boeing 737-376 VH-TAK ‘Daring’ was officially rolled out at Melbourne in the new colours of the Qantas Group.

The colour scheme adopted is in fact the colour scheme presently carried by Qantas Airways with the only change being on the forward fuselage where the wording ‘Spirit of Australia’ has been replaced by “The Australian Airline’. In its new scheme VH-TAK entered service on 11/05 when it operated TN572 from Melbourne to Sydney.
