Convention success
What a difference 12 months can make.
At last year’s RAAA Convention many operators were seriously worried about the future, and with good reason. The cold winds of international recession were beginning to blow. Demand for seats and freight was slowing. Credit from the major lenders was down to a trickle. By early 2009 two major regional airlines had closed their doors. Most RAAA members tightened their belts and kept operating. They displayed resilience and commitment in a very difficult environment.
