The US Department of Defense announced on November 10 that it had received a request from Colombia for the supply 14 UH-60L Black Hawks of both armed and utility models for counter-narcotics duties.
The last of four Luftwaffe Boeing 707-307Cs, 10+3 (c/n 19999), was retired on November 4 and is believed to have been sold on the civil market. Two previously retired 707s, 10+01 and 10+03 were sold to NATO and converted to E-3 AWACS trainers to become LX-N19997 and LX-N2000 respectively. The fourth aircraft 10+2 is in storage in Hamburg after withdrawal from service some time ago.
