Ana Doesn’t Expect First 787 Until August 2009
787 Launch Customer All Nippon Airways Says That It Now Doesn’t Expect to Take Delivery of Its First 787 Dreamliner Until August 2009, Albeit Without Accounting for the Effects of a Strike by 27,000 Boeing Workers Which Has Shut Down Production at the Seattle Manufacturer.
By the Currently Published Schedule Ana Was to Have Received Its First 787 in the Second Quarter of 2009, and the Airline’s September 25 Statement Has Raised Concerns That Other Customers May Also Face Delays to Their 787 Deliveries. But at the Time of Writing, Neither Boeing Nor Any Other Airlines Had Publicly Stated That They Expect Further Delays to Their 787s.
