DroneShield has confirmed it has completed a $3.7 million share placement of 18.5 million fully paid ordinary shares with US technology company Epirus.
The team also used data from weather radars and satellites to narrow the search down to a six-kilometre “likely fall zone” north of Port Augusta.
Named SARGO (Search and Rescue GO), the device is designed to be dropped from aircraft and then steered towards those in distress.
The significant expansion in Logan marks the first time that Wing has integrated its services with another app, with orders previously going through the tech giant’s own platform.
Some of the successful projects include AMSL Aero’s eVTOL aircraft, Praxis Lab’s plan for solar wing surfaces for electric aircraft, and a whole range of innovative uses of drone technology, including AI-powered digital farming.
The drones will in November take off from the supermarket’s car park and fly direct to customers’ homes in a major milestone for the technology.
