Qantas will add 1,700 seats a week between Melbourne and Tasmania when it introduces Q400 flights to Hobart, Launceston and Devonport. Hobart will see another 1,030 seats each week in an additional frequency operated by QantasLink Q400s, complementing the existing twice daily Boeing 737 services. Qantas has returned to the Gold Coast, operating its relaunched service from Sydney on Sunday.
