The 737 MAX 8, VH-8VI “Lake Centenary”, is Virgin’s 16th aircraft in the 737 MAX family, and the 100th 737 in its current fleet. Virgin is expecting 12 MAX 8s to join the fleet in 2026, as well as four Embraer E190-E2s for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines, the first having arrived last year.

The late-night flights, operated by 303-seat A350-900 aircraft, will depart WSI at 11:55pm, arriving in Singapore at 5am the following morning, before leaving Singapore at 11:30am to touch down in Western Sydney at 10:20pm. Services will commence from 23 November.
