Avalon And All That
For the warbird and antique enthusiast there were some good sights to be had at the Australian International Air Show.
In the big warbird department was the Catalina, a black cat at that, VH-PBZ/A24-362, from HARS, which was joined by Caribou VH-VBA/A4-210 and VH-VBB/A4-234. VH-VBA sprang a port fuel tank leak after arrival and had to be put aside for repairs. Fortunately VBB was taken off static display and flown in the display. Also flying was Lockheed Hudson VH-KOY from the Temora Aviation Museum.
