Qantas’s 787-9 cabin designed to go the distance

Although Perth-London nonstop flights may not quite be Qantas’s Holy Grail, the prospect of removing the ‘hop’ on the Kangaroo Route between Europe and Australia is clearly behind the airline’s Boeing 787-9 seating layout.

However, the Flying (pawless) Kangaroo’s 787-9s are not quite the passenger nirvana they could have been despite having just 236 seats and more than half the cabin devoted to business and premium economy.
