Tasmania may not be front of mind when thinking of leading edge aviation developments. But a new ‘post-impact’ buoyancy system for helicopters is putting the island-state well and truly in the spotlight.
This is thanks to Tasmania being the main development location for One Atmosphere’s Pegasus system, a state-of-the-art buoyancy assistance technology that is specifically designed for use in helicopters.
