Ahead of the Australian Aviation Summit 2024, Nova Sky Stories' Sue Osborn argued the onus is on organisations to invest in technology and deliver drone light shows in a safe manner.
It comes with Wing’s Jesse Suskin set to speak at Australian Aviation’s upcoming Australian Aviation Summit on 29 August.
Shares in the US publicly listed technology company have drastically fallen over the past week following massive market capitalisation reportedly equating to approximately $2 billion.
The capabilities can be deployed as a complement to Australia’s crewed systems, and are scheduled for delivery in 2025. It comes as the Albanese government has earmarked more than $10 billion on expenditure for uncrewed systems.
The collection of countries was formally established on 14 February this year in an initiative proposed by Latvia and co-ordinated with the UK.
According to CASA, the workshops featured “facilitated conversations, First Nations-led case studies, and drone policy design sessions, aiming to integrate modern technology with traditional knowledge and practices”.
