Boeing has released its 2010 order and delivery figures, recording net orders of 530 commercial aircraft, and 462 deliveries for the calendar year. The company took a total of 625 orders in 2010 comprised of 508 737s, 76 777s, one 747, three 767s and 37 787s, but these numbers were offset by 95 cancellations including

Korea’s Asiana Airlines has given Airbus a late Christmas gift with its signature of a firm order for six Airbus A380s. Lessor CIT Aerospace has ordered 38 Boeing 737s, comprising 23 737-800s and 15 737-900ERs. The order is the largest placed for the 737NG from a lessor, and will see deliveries made up until 2017.
