The long-range Boeing, ZK-OKP, departed the Mojave desert at 1:38pm on 20 August as flight NZ6001 and landed in LA, before continuing on to the North Island, where it touched down at 5:03 am on Tuesday.
The Flying Kangaroo said only the frequent flyer portion of the site crashed, and it was back up and running by 11:30 am on Monday.
The YouTube message and email come alongside a range of perks for frequent flyers, including a $50 voucher toward a return flight.
The new incident on 27 May occurred two months after the ATSB published its four-year report detailing a near identical situation on a packed A330 in Brisbane where the aircraft departed.
New court documents released by the airline claim Michael Fitzgerald indicated he would depart “quietly” if a subsequent deal could be agreed.
It said the move could “substantially lessen competition” in Queensland and WA regional areas, and also queried how it would affect ‘wet-lease’ agreements with other airlines.
