Civil Aircraft Register Update
Register Review
Thirty-four aircraft appear in the New Allocations section this month, representing a small increase in the number of aircraft registered in Australia with only 24 listed in the Deletions section.
The most interesting addition is the Pacific Air Freighters Douglas DC-4 which has become PAF after several months of operation using its American registration. The big radial-engined freighter is based at Archerfield and is mainly used on cargo charters to the Pacific Islands. A second machine is planned to join PAF if and when contracts indicate the viability of such a move.
