Airspur Airline Incorporated have selected the Westland 30 for their new service in the Los Angeles area and have signed an option contract for 18 helicopters. When final agreements are concluded . the total value will be up to $60 million. Deliveries are required to commence from the third quarter in 1982

Eastern Airways Selects Shorts 330:
Eastern Airways of Humberside, one of the United Kingdom’s independent airlines, has purchased a Shorts 330 commuterliner. The airline is the third UK carrier to select the wide-body 30-seat aircraft-330s are already in operation with Loganair of Scotland and East Midlands-based Alidair- and will be the first operator to provide a 330 service into London’s Heathrow Airport.
Since entering service in mid-1976, 330s have carried 51⁄2 million passengers and have been adopted by airlines in 13 countries. Recent sales of the 30-seat 330 and new 36-seat 360 bring the total order book for the Short wide-body commuter “Family” to 115 aircraft, worth in excess of $275 million.
