With an extra 10 feet of fuselage length over the Senes 200 the newly announced 146-300 will carry a standard load of 120 passengers and can take more than 130 in high density configuration. The aircraft will feature increased power and an advanced aerodynamic treatment of the wingtips to give exceptionally low aircraft trip costs.

Australian Aviation to Produce DofA Register on a Regular Basis:
Australian Aviation magazine and the Department of Aviation have agreed on a new method of presenting hard copy readouts of the Australian Aircraft Register that will save the Department money and also result in Australian Aviation magazine being an even greater source of reference material than it already is.
Commencing with the 148-page March 1985 Issue, Australian Aviation will present the registration mark, aircraft type, owner and registered address for all aircraft registered A through K. The 148-page June edition will then list the L to Z group while subsequent issues through the year will list additions, deletions and changes of ownership as they occur as an update service. Each year the process of reproducing an entire fresh listing will be undertaken so that reader files may be kept fully up to date.
