Australian Aircraft Sales Expand Fokker Fleet
Australian Aircraft Sales Celebrates 1983 as the Largest Owner of Fokker Friendships on Earth
Australia’s own civil airliner dealer, Australian Aircraft Sales, certainly is unique. Unique not only in that it Is the only operation of its type in Australia but largely because it actually purchases the aircraft it lists for sale.
This unusual approach allows AAS to be more selective in selling its wares in a market that is known for its highs and lows.
At the time of going to press AAS had sold five of the six ex-Air New Zealand F. 27-100 aircraft they had advertised in recent editions of this magazine. The five aircraft were purchased by Tunisia Aviation of North Africa while ZK-NAH, the sole remaining aircraft in the group, is now registered locally as VH-NLS and should be disposed of by mid-year.
