Argentina Re-Arms:

Argentina has received up to 70 Mirage IIIs and IAI Daggers in recent months from Israeli and South American sources. It is also believed that between two and three dozen ex-Israeli A-4 Skyhawks have also been procured. If this is correct then these aircraft would be the late model N version with far greater capability than the early model ex-USN Skyhawks that Argentina employed against the British in 1982. Also in the Argentine inventory are nine new Super Etendard fighter bombers, two new Meko patrol frigates and at least twenty Exocet air-launched anti-ship missiles.

Enforcer Completes First Flight:

The Piper Enforcer, a close-air support military aircraft with a heritage based on the World War II P-51 Mustang, successfully completed its m1tial flight on April 9 The one-hour flight examined stability, controllability and handling characteristics.
