Honda Jet
The company that has built 80 million cars and 250 million motorbikes is about to deliver its first corporate jet
The much-anticipated public debut of the Honda Aircraft Company’s HA-420 HondaJet production model in Oshkosh follows its first flight on June 27, and brings new innovation and performance ever closer to first delivery, which is now expected in the first quarter of 2015.
“In many ways, this event was the true beginning of Honda’s aviation venture,” said Honda Aircraft Company president and CEO Michimasa Fujino. “EAA AirVenture Oshkosh has been the setting of several HondaJet firsts. ” 2005 saw the proof-of-concept debut in Oshkosh and a year later the Honda Aircraft Company wasannounced in that small midwestern US city.
