Government agencies must understand their impact on industry
There is progress on the CASA front. It is still too slow for industry but a new chair, a new board, and a CEO with a new mandate to drive change, are now sending the right signals to the people who pay to be regulated.
The Forsyth Review recommendations will be properly rolled out and a post-implementation review is highly likely in 2016. The industry put an enormous effort into the review, and its conclusions were well received by most in the industry and by Deputy Prime Minister Truss.
