MRH 90 Arrives
Australian Aerospace handed over the first two of 46 MRH 90 troop lift helicopters destined for Army and Navy operations on December 18 during an in-service date (ISD) ceremony at its Brisbane Airport facility.
A crowd of about 350 defence and industry delegates from Australia, France and Germany joined Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Procurement, Greg Combet (representing new Labour Defence Minister Joel Fitzgibbon), French Ambassador to Australia Francois Descoueyte and Eurocopter CEO Lutz Bertling at the ISD ceremony hosted in the Australian Aerospace assembly hangar.
