V Australia US bound under Open Skies
Any thoughts that V Australia might be a long haul budget carrier were swept aside in Sydney on March 31, when the airline announced its first route to Los Angeles and its three class seating configuration.
And with the launch came news that the airline had entered into a codeshare with Northwest Airlines, which gives V Australia customers good access to a host of destinations in the United States and Canada and also eliminates a possible competitor under the new Open Skies agreement between Australia and the US.
