RAAF airlift upsizes to the C-17 era
The C-17 has certainly made a big impact in Australia since the first was delivered to the RAAF in December 2006.
The Boeing airlifter has impressed not only for its sheer size and capability, but also for its very rapid and smooth introduction to service as it quickly comes to represent a whole new way of doing things for the ADF.
