If the end result is anything like the Israeli ‘Shavit’ then it should be a fairly passive platform in nature. Effectively it is an airborne listening post, with the additional capability to disrupt/distort/deceive (but not damage) the opposition’s communications and overall ‘picture’ of the AO [area of operations]. Another distinction is that E-7 and P-8 have a large number of console operators on-board that disseminate information to act on directly.
