Recreational Aviation Australia (RAAus) is Australia’s largest member-based aviation organisation representing almost 10,000 pilots and 3,500 aircraft owners.

We administer aircraft and pilots that fly light aircraft for private reasons and flight training, with these aircraft accruing hundreds of thousands of hours each year.

In recent years we have worked hard to restructure the organisation to implement a robust and sustainable business model for the future.

We are now in a growth phase and are seeking an experienced professional to lead the organisation into the next stage of its evolution.

The ideal candidate for this role will have industry experience in private aviation (including aviation qualifications as a pilot or maintenance professional) with strong interpersonal skills and a deep industry network. Financial management is of the utmost importance, as are marketing skills and significant management experience.

A person with a history of positively influencing policy outcomes at the highest levels of government coupled with an entrepreneurial and visionary outlook would be looked upon favourably.

If you are interested in working in a dynamic organisation and wish to make a positive change in the aviation sector, then we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this position with you.

Resumes with relevant details covering your experience, qualifications, skills and background should be forwarded to [email protected]
