AA Podcast: Aviation Australia Expo Episode 1

written by Anna Grbas | September 30, 2019

Welcome to the first episode in our three-part series from the Aviation Australia aviation expo in Brisbane that was held in August 2019.

Boasting one of the best aviation training centres in the state, we take a closer look at the people and power behind Aviation Australia as host Mic Cullen chats to speakers, educators and guests.

On this podcast is Queensland Minister for State Development Cameron Dick, who spoke about about how the training facility at Brisbane Airport has met the demand for skills in the aviation sector.

For those who are looking at taking up a career in aviation, Cullen perfectly unpacks what it takes to be a part of the industry and hones in on the importance of teamwork and the right skillset.

Also, Cindy Doran and Alan Scade from Aviation Australia talk about cabin crew training and lifestyle factors.

Finally, Cullen sat down with Aviation Australia technical training manager Mark Thompson.

We hope you enjoy the first of the three-part series. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for more Aviation Australia events in the future.
