No holiday for Cambodia’s expanding air travel industry
With a total population of around 17 million Cambodia isn’t exactly your high density booming airline market to challenge the likes of China and India. Yet, in its own way, the country is experiencing an aviation surge as tourism numbers skyrocket.
The country’s aviation sector has seen rapid growth in recent years, going from two airlines flying just seven planes in 2013 to its current fleet of seven airlines flying 30 planes. Sydney-based consultants CAPA forecast that will rise to 40 by the end of this year.
