Darwin Airport looks to Asia
For the second year in a row, Darwin International Airport has been awarded the World Routes Airport Marketing Award for airports under four million passengers.
Achieving its status as a worldleading airport in delivering services to airline passengers is recognition of the success of marketing initiatives undertaken by Darwin International Airport (DIA) to grow its base of airline users. DIA is seeking to become the hub for air travel between northern Australia and Asia. But despite this success, DIA faces a number of challenges to the future growth of the airport.
