Flight instructing with UNSW

The line of training aircraft sits at the ready on the Bankstown Airport tarmac. Beneath their clear expansive canopies, students and instructors can be seen running through checklists, pointing and nodding in affirmation.

It is a scene repeated year after year all around the world as the lessons of flight are handed down. Still, the role of a flight instructor is not for everyone and only a percentage of commercial pilots ever find it to be their calling. One of those is John Lee at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).
