Virgin Blue has applied a special livery to one of its Boeing 737s, 737-800 VH-VUL, to mark the airline’s marketing relationship with 20th Century Fox to mark the release of the movie Avatar on DVD and Blu Ray.
The aircraft was launched with a special flight on April 29 from Brisbane to Sydney which carried 20 competition winners and members of the Virgin Blue flightcrew who were made-up prior to the flight to look like ‘Na’vi’ characters from the movie.
