A Wolfhound Mustang Is Down
March 20, 1951. Pusah, Korea.
It was still dark as the two Mustangs taxied onto the runway and took off. They climbed swiftly, heading in a northerly direction in the cold pre-dawn sky. Sgt Cecil Sly and Sgt Keith Meggs of 77 Squadron, HAAF were on an. Early morning road reconnaissance mission north of Seoul, hoping to catch enemy supply trucks and armour in the open. As they flew oh at 10,000ft (3,048m) the sky gradually brightened. Although there was little likelihood of aerial opposition it was time to be alert.
