Regional airline Airnorth is set to double the frequency of its Darwin to Gold Coast via Mount Isa services with the addition of a second weekly flight.
Supplementing the current Thursday schedule, the new Wednesday service is due to start on February 16.

CEO of Airnorth, Simone Saunders, said the route “has been very popular” with northern Australia based businesses taking “advantage of the link between Darwin and the resource rich town of Mount Isa.”
Saunders said there was also strong support from the Mount Isa community, who had “supported the route from its inception”, taking advantage of being able to make short stay business trips to the Gold Coast .
