The Federal Court dismissed an application brought by Sara Rossi, who claimed she did not have the mental capacity in 2008 to enter into a deed that would bring an end to a claim for compensation.

The first OD195 service from Kuala Lumpur to Auckland via Perth landed in Auckland last week aboard a Batik Air 737 MAX 8 and returned to Kuala Lumpur via Perth as OD196. The service will operate six times per week.

The distinctive tilt-rotor aircraft, which had 23 on board, was taking part in Exercise Predators Run during the incident on Melville Island, 60km off the coast from Darwin.
