Povey, who previously helped launch UK-based airline Jet2.com, was responsible for building the Bonza brand including its app-based bookings, local partnerships, gender-neutral uniforms, and the recent launch of branded Bonza Holidays packages.

The recommendation was among ten made by the group, which also called on the government to “immediately review” the decision to deny the Middle Eastern airline the right to increase its services into Australia.

The decision means three international carriers can depart over Moreton Bay at night more frequently, rather than having to fly over more populated areas.

It comes as three unions are currently negotiating a new deal over working terms, and the industrial action will involve safety regulators, flight training examiners, pilots, and engineers.
