Just days after it announced its international travel ban would be extended to mid-December, the government has revealed a new plan to drop the ban as early as November, following the introduction of a fit-for-purpose vaccine passport.
The Federal Court's Justice Michael Lee made the announcement on Wednesday, arguing that he wouldn't allow such a large amount of people to have their lives “put on hold” for too long.
The Prime Minister has also continued to flag that home quarantine will be introduced for returning Australians that are fully vaccinated.
