The aircraft crew flew nine missions, detecting and reporting over 110 suspicious vessels and helping locate one vessel of interest.
The money, which will also be spent on locations such as ports, barracks and training areas, will support a total of 234 projects.
Brisbane-based Insitu Pacific has been selected to deliver a tranche of uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to the Australian Army as part of a $650 million investment in local capability.
