The awards celebrated the best and brightest in Australia’s defence industry whose hard work and dedication have strengthened the defence ecosystem.

The biennial exercise, which commenced in 1993, is the RAN’s flagship international engagement activity, and this year 3,000 personnel from more than 20 countries will take part.

Her Majesty was known as a strong advocate of the RAAF. In March last year, she made only her third public appearance since the start of the COVID pandemic to honour the Air Force’s centenary.
The training program, which began on 19 August, featured 100 aircraft and 2,500 military personnel from 17 different nations.
