Turkey’s Pegasus Airlines has ordered up to 100 A320neo-family aircraft, in the process becoming a new Airbus customer. The second largest airline in Turkey, the order comprises 75 firm orders for 58 A320neo and 17 A321neo models.   In a joint statement Airbus and Pegasus said the order was the largest placed by a Turkish airline.

ATR has opened a new training centre in Singapore in a move to bolster support to the growing number of ATR customers in the Asia Pacific region. Airbus has achieved new milestones after having received 186 orders and delivered 54 aircraft during November to bring total orders to more than 12,000 – at 12,064. The manufacturer is also heading towards a delivery record in 2012, with 516 aircraft delivered to the end of November, compared with 534 for the whole of 2011.

The main structural assembly of the first flyable A350 has been completed in Toulouse. Having successfully powered-up the aircraft’s fuselage and wings, MSN-001 was moved from the main assembly hall in readiness for hydraulic system testing and a full electrical and hydraulic power-on by the end of the year.
