In a contract awarded to CAE Australia, a major provider of training simulators and services, the investment will see crews train in CAE’s Future Air Mission Training System (F-AMTS).

Specialist engineers from Babcock’s design and completions team are set to provide a range of transformative enhancements and upgrades to the Airbus H145 helicopters, including improving tactical and sensor systems and increasing surveillance capabilities.

This first flight represents the safe operation of the Boeing attack helicopters being used by Australia’s military, marking a significant milestone in the growing capabilities of the Australian Defence Force.

The new class will be operating on Emirates’ daily flights, EK420/421 between Perth and Dubai, making the service a now four-class cabin in a way the airline says will enhance the flying experience for travellers.

Minister for Jobs and Tourism, Steve Kamper, said that the state government is continuing to “back the aviation industry”, with this most recent fund following the $16 million Western Sydney International Take-Off Fund that was introduced in March this year.

Under the per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) National Coordinating Body, the Williamtown Working Group (WWG) aims to collectivise community and government representatives to support measures that will mitigate the environmental and economic effects of PFAS contamination.
