From Sunday night, the flag carrier’s 787-9s will now fly through the middle east and southern Europe, rather than through Russia.

The airline suggested in its half-year financial report, released on Friday, that it’s still working with litigation firm Clayton Utz, which it first appointed in August last year.

It comes as a series of tit-for-tat airspace bans has seen Russia block carriers based in the UK, Bulgaria, Poland and the Czech Republic flying over its skies.

The pilot, 31 and his passenger, just 18, were conducting powerline inspections near Canberra when the aircraft, VH-DLA, entered a spin on 13 April 2021.

The training program was significant as it marked the first time its F-35s were sent to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, to participate in the exercise.

The news is a result of the airline flying capital cities routes with a new fleet of 737-800s, and came as the business announced a $53,000,000 loss before tax for the same period.
