Thales and Leonardo’s joint space venture has won an EU contract to improve the accuracy of global navigation systems such as GPS and NASA’s Galileo.

The Australian Federation of Air Pilots said the action would start from Tuesday 28 June and include a ban on loading extra fuel prior to flights and not wearing uniforms.

The service is reported to be lined up to fill the void left by South African Airways, which made its staff redundant in April 2020.
