The successful applicants may have appropriate experience as a journalist, have served within the Australian Defence Force/Department of Defence, or the defence or aviation industries.
Specialist knowledge of aviation and/or defence issues – government policy, the defence budget, acquisition processes and programs, military capabilities, the Australian defence industry and/or the civil aviation industry including airlines, regional and general aviation – is highly desirable.
You will be required to research and write high quality, accurate content to meet regular deadlines, under minimal supervision. You should have a demonstrated ability to work in a small team environment, be able to build and maintain professional networks, and possess high level communication and organisational skills.
