RAAF Lead-in Fighter Programme – Overview
A Lead-in Fighter for the RAAF
The RAAF’s Lead-in Fighter programme to replace its Macchi MB-326Hs is rapidly gathering pace. In this issue Gerard Frawley reviews the background to the project while Bob Grimstead flies the Hawk 100. In our next issue we will review the Aermacchi MB-339, while in March we will study the McDonnell Douglas T-45 Goshawk.
Overview
