Antonmoy Design Bureau World Record Airlift

Lifting a single shipment weighing a total 135. 2 tonnes, an Air Foyle/Antonov An-124 has set a new world record for the heaviest ever transported by air. The massive 124 tonne Siemens powerplant generator core, together with its specially developed load spreading skid meaured 13. 4m in length by 4. 3m wide and took ten hours to load onto the aircraft. The 9000km flight from Düsseldorf in Germany to New Delhi, India required no fewer than six refueling stops due to the extra heavy load.
